At Blackpool under glorious sunshine Dixon won the junior dog class & went on to gain his first CC.
He then completed a superb day by taking Best of Breed under world renowned all rounder Andrew Brace who's critique read as follows:

"Junior dog: 1st Hargreaves' Ghyllbeck Rapax - what an exciting prospect, loved the type & balance of this dog who has star quality in abundance & such presence & style, beautifully moulded head, everything about his outline & construction fits & flows and he moves around with such freedom & carriage. Just needs a little more body condition which maturity should bring but for me he was a standout for the CC & BOB. I am sure he is going to become a significant dog in the breed."

At Leeds under Sandra Marshall Dixon was awarded the RDCC
whilst Nina won the puppy bitch class going on to beat the dog for the Best Puppy award

Gundog specialist Anne Webster judged our breed at Paignton where Dixon won
the post graduate class & gained his 2nd CC

At WKC Nina was awarded Best Puppy by judge Kathy Gorman

B'ham City was Nina's last puppy class & she did us proud by taking not only
Best Puppy In Breed but also RBCC. The judge said she was "absolutely stunning" - we won't argue with that!!
The day was completed when Dixon was also awarded RDCC after winning the limit class.
Thank you to our judge Lesley Trow for the lovely comments of our youngsters.

At Darlington we had a remarkable day as a result of a senior moment, entering Nina in
the limit bitch class as opposed to Aberdaunant Rhian as planned.
To our great suprise Nina not only won her class but then went on to take
the BCC & crowned the day with Best of Breed - Well done nanna!!!
Dixon held his end up by taking the limit dog class & RCC.
Thank you to our judge gundog specialist Doreen Smillie for a truly remarkable day.

This became apparent that over the past three years the Ghyllbeck kennel has taken
RDCC, the BCC & BoB at this show, an achievement that we believe to be unrivalled
at any Championship show in the breed!!

At Driffield the heavens opened but it didn't dampen our spirits -
This was due to Dixon winning his all important 3rd CC making him a Show Champion at only 20 months of age.
The day was completed when our judge, gundog specialist Marion Waddell awarded him Best of Breed

Sandra Marshall judged the gundog group

We completed the show season at Midland Counties where Nina was awarded
the RBCC by breed specialist Pat McCutcheon.

Special thanks to all the Judges concerned for making 2010 a truly memorable year
& to all our friends from many different breeds and countries for your cards & Congratulations.

We are extremely proud of our two youngsters
who between them this year have amassed

3 Best of Breeds, 4 CC’s, 6 RCC’s & 7 Best Puppy Awards

Culminating in Dixon gaining his title
& Nina being crowned
Our Dogs Top Puppy 2010

We are very much looking forward to 2011...........
