was awarded Best of Breed under Mike Egan, then went on to take
RESERVE BEST IN SHOW under Judge Babs Harding


This was followed by Crufts where Dixon
took 3rd place in the Open Dog class,
whilst Nina continued her winning streak
by taking the Open Bitch class
which she followed, to our great suprise,
with the Bitch CC.

She then surpassed all our expectations
by beating her uncle to take

In my notes I said 'feminine, balanced, stylish, super movement'
and this about sums up this attractive bitch, lovely feminine head with the depth and expression

movement is graceful and flowing, so sound and true, very eyecatching standing and on the move.

At the National Dog Show during their German breeds festival Ghyllbeck had a day to remember.
Under judge Fr Jeanine Bandel Dixon won the open dog class from 11 entries,
then went on to take the DCC and the first CAC to be awarded in Britian.
He then went on to take Best of Breed.

Nina continued her winning streak by taking the open bitch class and the RBCC.

Our day culminated with Dixon setting another record & creating breed history by becoming the first
Large Munsterlander to win a first place in a group at a general championship show
under renowned all rounder Andrew Brace.


For our next show we travelled to the Rijnhal, Arnhem to the Pinkstershow
where our breed judge was Mevr. M C Jarman (ZAF)

Nina was awarded the CAC & CACIB whilst Dixon won CAC, CACIB & Best of Breed.

In the group Dixon again created breed history by becoming the first LM to win a group in Holland.
Mevr. M C Jarman also judged the group. Dixon then went on to take the 4th place in Best In Show


At Border Union we 'DID THE DOUBLE' with Dixon taking Best of Breed under gundog specialist Sandra Marshall.


At Windsor Colin Woodward was giving us CC's for the first time where Nina picked up the RBCC
whilst Dixon again won CC & Best of Breed.

At Leeds Val Grant was also giving LM's CC's for the first time where Nina picked up another RBCC
whilst Dixon continued his winning streak by taking CC & Best of Breed.

At Nat Gun we had a breed judge -Lynda Scott - giving CC's for the first time.
She awarded Nina RBCC & Dixon DCC.

The following day we travelled to Paignton where Jean Bates gave Nina RBCC
& Dixon picked up another CC, this time with Best of Breed.

At WKC Jinty Gill-Davies awarded Dixon RDCC

At SKC we 'DID THE DOUBLE' this time with Nina taking Best of Breed under gundog specialist
Ann Moss. Nina was also shortlisted in the group under David Shields.

At our following show City of Birmingham we 'DID THE DOUBLE' again

but today Joy Hartley chose Dixon as her Best of Breed winner.
David Moss was our judge at Richmond where Dixon picked up
the DCC &

At Darlington Jeff Horsewell was also awarding CC's to LM's for the first time.
Dixon gained the RDCC whilst Nina was awarded BCC & Best of Breed

For our next show we travelled through the Eurotunnel to Maastricht
where we were entered at the Internationale Rashondententoonstelling.

Nina created breed history by becoming the first British LM to gain a European title making her
SH CH/DUTCH CH Ghyllbeck Angelique.

She was awarded the CAC & CACIB whilst Dixon won
CAC, CACIB, Best of Breed
& topped it off with a Group 3 placing

Nine days later we travelled to Dortmund where we were entered at
the prestigious VDH Bundessieger-Ausstellung where both Dixon & Nina
were graded Excellent and gained their CACIB's with Dixon taking BoB.
In FCI group 7 under Fr Jeanine Bandel Dixon was awarded group 2.
The following day at the same venue at the VDH Nationale Ausstellung
both dogs were again graded Excellent and respectively gained their CAC's.
Dixon was then shortlisted under group judge Herr Hans W Muller (CH)
At Midland Counties our final show of the season our latest prospect
had her first outing. Bria gained a 3rd place from a class of
8 puppy bitches thus qualifying her for Crufts.

Special thanks go to her breeder Linda Louwman-v d Veen who helped
so much in her early days which has made her the so well adjusted and
level headed young lady she is today.
Of course we also have to mention Wilfred, Robbert, Frank & Ilse
for all their contributions.

And for a second consecutive year Ghyllbeck are

with Dixon, narrowly beating Nina into second place (by 16 points!!!)
