Mr Gibbs out on his first shooting day.
He found it very exciting being out with both his parents & passed the test with flying colours.
Finding & flushing a cock pheasant, watching Bambi run by, closely followed by 2 hares (very interesting...)
& completed the day with 2 retrieves on duck, one of which was alive.

We had a very long day at Crufts with judging not finishing until 6.15pm....
Having collected Mr Gibb's awards for being Top Puppy in the gundog group 2015 he then won his first junior class
whilst Ziva won a strong limit class followed by the RBCC under Joy Hartley.
Since arriving from The Netherlands she has been to 8 shows
winning 7 firsts, 2 best puppy awards (one being Crufts 2015) & 5 RCC's.
Well done to all Dixon & Dexter's progeny we are proud of you all.

At The Pointer Club Championship show his lordship was handling Miss Marples who took 2nd in Minor puppy bitch
& Shimmer who gained 4th in mid limit bitch under Glynis Marsh, both classes in very good company.
Many thanks Annette for asking Daniel to handle your beautiful girls:-)

Annette stood Miss Marple as she was making her debut
..... not quite sure who the look of disapproval from Daniel was meant for???
Shimmer.....who gives 100%.......as always.....love you to the moon & back:-)

A wonderfully proud day with the arrival of Abby's Champion certificate.......ssooooo proud

At WELKS Mr Gibbs won his first post graduate class & Ziva continued her winning streak with another RCC under breed specialist Keith Groom
but the icing on my birthday cake was made to look like flowers....special thanks to Louise & Peter for this lovely gesture....
They were absolutely delicious...MMMmmmmmmm

At Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands Ziva's litter sister Ghyll Brook uut't Vossebeltseveld (Mette) gained the
CAC CACIB & declared BEST FEMALE whilst her litter brother
Ghyll ribble uut vossebeltseveld (Storm) was awarded the CAC, CACIB, BEST MALE, Best of Breed
giving him his Dutch Champion title.

We are so proud of Dixon & Mika's progeny

At Border Union Dixon was awarded the CC, his 44th which was topped off with Best of Breed.

Dixon with our judge
Daniel & Marples with Pointer judge Mrs Joan Huxley

HPR specialist Barbara Stamp judged our breed with CC's for the first time.....
Her critique reads as follows:-

1 Hargreaves’ UK/INT SH CH/NL/VDH CH Ghyllbeck Rapax,
Fabulous well known boy. I gave him BOB last time I judged him and the remarks remain the same.
He is the epitome of a Large Munsterlander. Now at 7 years I’m sure he will continue to win CC’s well into veteran. DCC and BOB

What a fabulous day at Blackpool for the Ghyllbeck kennel with 3 generations showing 3 breeds who all turned out to be in
different rings at the same time, making the task of taking photos a little more challenging.....
After a consistant run of 6RCC's from her last 7 shows our beautiful import Ziva took her 1st CC with Best of Breed under Val Grant.
Nanna & Louie made their first appearance in the showring taking Best Puppy, Best junior & Best Dog under Mr Juha Kares (Finland)
whilst Daniel gained a 2nd place under Patsy Hollings qualifying Marples for Crufts 2017.

At Leeds Ziva was awarded her 2nd CC under Richard Morris

At Paignton Dixon won RDCC

under Murray Armstrong

whilst Daniel showed Nina

beautifully (as always)

to another RBCC

Marples was placed 4th out of

9 in the junior bitch class

in excellent company

It was lovely to catch up again

with some of Dixon

& Willow's offspring

including Brian, Lily, Buffy

& Kaia.....happy days:-)

Well he said he'd do it one day.......& this was the day.

At Driffied in the open bitch class Daniel & Nina beat all comers including her kennel mate Ziva & yours truly which was very well received
around the ring. He then went on to take the RCC under renowned gundog specialist Pam Blay.
Then Miss Marple gained a 3rd place in the junior bitch class in excellent company.....ssooooo proud of you both:-)

That's my boy...the smug look says it all...
